Koan doesn't think he could take it. I think every American should see "12 Years a Slave." I'd also read about it, thought about it, been horrified by it, but seeing it depicted on the big screen was a different thing. I doubt any of our conservatives are seeing it either. When I saw it, the theatre was pretty full, so, many people ARE catching it.
