Call the police; right!

Dear police, somebody dumped trash on the road. God, John you have to be kidding me. ......Police can't fix the ills, the evils, of society. Police have enough to do trying to keep people from killing each other.

The two issues are connected and are connected in a big way. There are just a lot of really lazy people in the world that care of nothing other than where their next beer or their next Meth fix will come from. How it will be paid for. There are just a bunch of people that because of healthy social nets and "accepted" life styles have chosen to be wards of the state. Even in his piece this morning Krugman admits that when he answers "yes" to his own question ..."Doesn’t generous aid to the poor reduce their incentive to work?"

As a society our incentives need to be to push people out of this lifestyle. AND as I've been arguing, that doesn't mean they should go hungry! Give them the tools to succeed but not the incentives NOT to succeed.
