Qdog,

<<<<<. I believe the loan or whatever was more than what it appears to be.>>>>>>
I don't think that Faris wants to deal with Hunt Oil as the JV. I think he is looking to rope in a bigger fish and that the Hunts are playing this one only to be in the game if that fails. If they take it I think that it would mean the concession is not as promising as we all hope. They are investors on this one IMHO.

You don't see any problem with including these two potentially large structures with a tiered agreement? How common are such agreements? I know you've discussed this in past posts, but it would seem that a large oil company upon seeing decent data--and I don't know if the seismic will be of any particular quality--could use such an agreement as both a hedge against losing major cash while at the same time getting a stake in a promising area.

I don't see a problem with such a scenerio...interesting that the latest news was specific to Chikuduk and Begesh (Begash). Again, as a shareholder looking long term and not for the quick dollar, I don't want to see these areas handed over for a song just to raise cash.

If a tiered agreement is made, would you expect the partner to completely manage the exploratory aspects with aipn much the spectator?
