I think that the legal ruling regarding MS & IE4 bundling is both good and appropriate.

It should not delay Win98, integration of IE was going to be optional anyway, as it is with Win95 -- you can install the active desktop, or continue to use the current desktop. Of course, it would make a good EXCUSE for a delay, if MS needs one. But I really think that they could have shipped Win98 in Feb. if they had not felt that they had to have the Win 3.1 to Win 98 upgrade ability (the original plan was to offer it only for Win 95).
