Hmmm.. maybe.. But there still the question of NatGas supply there, upon which they are heavily dependent upon Russian sources.

So I'm not sure the frenzy is logically based.

OTOH, stocks like FCEL and CPST may make a lot of sense, especially with the co-generation and by-product use of excess heat. The question is which technology, FC or Micro-Turbine, makes more economic sense on a long-term basis.

What I do believe is that in the event of another energy disruption, especially if combined with a Chinese move on the S. China sea islands, NatGas in the US will be the practical choice. It will make more sense to convert to it, than to be dependent upon global markets that may be willing to pay more for our oil production, and probably even our NG.. But it will still be a few years before we can export NG in quantities.
