Somebody screwed that up.

I am sure someone smarter than me has thought, rather than consider burying the stuff, consider the potential of pushing the stuff to deep space (far beyond earth's atmosphere). I mentioned it once and a left winger jumped down my throat about poluting the universe with our radio-active waste. I responded it would be like adding one molecule of H2O, to an ocean a Trillion times the size of the Earths Oceans, but it didn't help. The person just kept ranting.

There was a huge push to pay off Indian Leaders to let the Govt bury radio_active wastes on Reservations... full circle on that one, ehh?
