I guess if you can sit next to a tap all day, that's fab. But for those of us who still work, and don't get to take water cooler breaks- or even have a water cooler- water bottles can come in very handy. I work - without a break- from 7:30-2. I allegedly have 1/2 hour for lunch- but I rarely get to use it to eat, much less leave my room- because I have students who need help or want to make up tests. There is no drinking fountain near me. I have to walk the length of a football field just to find a bathroom. I keep waters in my room for that reason. I try to remember to bring a thermos with tea or ice water, but if I forget, I'd like to have water available. I'm sure there are a lot of working stiffs like me.

When I checked out if bottled water qualifies for food stamps (yes it does) - I also learned that you can buy seeds and plant starts with food stamp money. .........NOW, I like that idea. An incentive to get people to eat more healthy.
