The article makes it quite clear that they did not "get it right". You can't argue on the facts so you turn to the age old Canard about the Church.

Bruno was the most famous of the many scientists martyred by the evil church. After they burned him, they burned his library. The Catholic, Lutheran, and some other church got together and they all voted to burn him and his library. If we'd had Bruno's library, we'd have had the internet long before Al Gore invented it. And democracy too. Bruno knew, just like Plato did, that there was no God because scientists have been searching for him all over and haven't found him. 97% of scientists agree on this and scientists never lie and are never wrong. That's why they wear white coats .... those coats stand for truth. The other 3% of scientists are being paid by the Koch brothers to deny the truth. The truth is that a Christian king had the Bible written long after the time of Jesus. Jesus never existed and neither did David or Solomon or anyone at all named in the Bible. It was all made up by a Christian king (King James). After having the Bible written he had all the libraries burned and all the scientists executed. Christians love to burn libraries. The civil war was started because the northern Christians heard there was a library in Atlanta so they formed an army, invaded the south and burned the whole city of Atlanta just to be sure to get not only the Atlanta library but all the books from it that might have been out on loan. Things I've learned from the twin geniuses of SI - koan and waybelowaveragejoe.
