I'm not smart enough to tell you the signs of a bottom for the techs. And who is? But I'll tell you one thing, it's not going to be tomorrow. I suspect that techs wont really recover until earnings start rolling in that show whatever effect Asia has had on these companies. Then, when it can be soberly evaluated, money might start coming back in to the techs who aren't so adversely affected. In other words, not for a while.

Mostly I posted a warning because I'm often dismayed how people come out of the woodwork after these big drops and tell people to buy at bargain prices. As if a few SI members would bolster a stock price. Or maybe their being genuine, I don't know. But I know that most techs that have warned have trended downward after their warnings, not had some kind of miraculous rebound.

I'm not looking for bottoms on these stocks for months. I'm looking to short ones that have yet to announce the inevitable warnings. That's the best advice I can give.
