Can someone please tell me what you mean by FUD.

FUD = Fear Uncertainty and Doubt

a.k.a. marketing B.S.

FUD, and the FUDsters...

Crotty asks, "Can someone please tell me what you mean by FUD. I'm long USRX and just..."

We're all long COMS, now, Crotty. I guess I thought you'd been here during the last discussion of FUD, which stands for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. It's what many of us have accused Rockwell of throwing out in their press releases about x2 vs. K56.

This mnemonic will help you understand how to work it:

When in danger or in doubt,
Run in circles, scream and shout.

And you can see the market take this fine advice....

Crotty, I'm reading up through the posts late and am guessing your question has been answered already...so I won't go there. BUT, hang in there and don't get discouraged, your posts here are good, so stick around.

Btw. I got a kick out of it!

Regards,

Scrapps

Modem wars, FUD, and discouragement....

Crotty says, about that stuff from his ISP, "I'm long USRX and just trying to post news from my ISP, which upset me. I thouhgt you all would get a kick out of."

Scrapps (in #10587) thinks you might get discouraged. Please don't do that.

We certainly enjoyed your post... after all, we love to argue, especially when there isn't much news, like now when we're really waiting until earnings.

And we don't want to pick on you... just your ISP, for saying those dumb things.

Anyway, don't mind us. We're friendly, really. No matter how we sound when we're talking about COMS's competitors.

Dick
