from a succession of more ancient beings with no divine intervention needed along the way." .....And thats what we find exactly, human nature parallels with lower primate behaviors, this is what even a child sees at any zoo. Why are humans so fascinated by zoos? Because we see our direct reflection there... Where was this divine intervention taking place? The so called "smart Creationists" have had to push that back to the Cambrian Explosion 500mil years, do we see a pattern here? But of course we do, the intervention never does take place, going back to one cell.
