"Coattails" This little price pop from the Plug play is a tempest in a teapot compared to what is coming. And that is? Bloom. Bloom Energy is going to go public in the near future, and it will make this entire fuel cell frenzy seem like small stuff. Bloom Energy is backed by some of the biggest names in finance. It is already the fifth biggest VC play of all time, and is backed by a host of prominent investors. The media push around Bloom's public offering will be massive. There is so much money behind it the backers are going to push it like crazy. And that will be good for FuelCell Energy, who can ride the tide of a new, and much bigger wave. If little Plug can push us up to almost $5, Big Bloom will triple that. Watch for the fuel cell feeding frenzy to return with a fury when Bloom Energy goes public (and rumors have it going public in the first part of 2014).
