Yeah, but if you look at the actual video, you can understand just how outrageous this law is.

And Varney is exactly right. The law provides that if NY spends $1 for heat subsidies, the person automatically qualifies for food stamps. So, by spending $6,000,000 on the subsidy, NY can bring in $500 Million in food stamp money. Which they're doing. Effectively, buying votes with food stamp money.

It is pathetic but it is what happens when you live in a country that is running toward fascism.
