What are YOU afraid of, Ted? The Ukraine, a former Soviet state, is next to Russia, not the US. From what I've read, at least half the citizens in Crimea are Russians and WANT to be part of Russia. The polling I've read splits exactly 50/50.

So then you're good with Russia annexes whomever they want........is that correct?

You understand that Russians make up 58% of the population of Crimea because they moved in and moved the Tartars out. However, that number has been dropping as Russians move back to Russia and Tartars move back to Crimea. Other than Crimea, Russians are a majority in only two other provinces; two that are closest to Russia. The rest of the Ukraine's provinces are majority Ukrainians.

And what say you when Putin decides to annex the Baltic Republics or Poland?
