With globalization. perhaps this will be corrected. All of history is available to us now.>> Now I don't know about you Texas hippies, but we SF Bay area hippies studied eastern philosophy. We all read Watts and the Dancing Lu Wie Masters. And we appreciated Taoism. Buddhism and Confucianism. We even read the Vedic bible and we all read: Siddhartha by Herman Hessa. Eastern philosophy is much deeper than ours IMO, but it has an Achilles heel. It never worked on Democracy. And the Greeks saw that was the key.
