<<<< Should NM be annexed to Mexico when that majority figure is breached?>>>>

As I said before - this has nothing to do with Crimea and the situation there. You are trying to get me into a debate that holds no interest for me - other than we stay out of that part of the country. It is their business let THEM work it out.

Okay. Let's talk about Putin's next gambit..........the 4 eastern Ukraine provinces; two of which have Russian majorities like Crimea. When do you think he will annex them? After they have a referendum?

So your comparison to New Mexico is still just silly to me. Should we give New York back to the Italians or Minnesota back to the Norwegians? That is how silly your comparison looks to me. One has NOTHING to do with the other - and that is the one and only point I was trying to make. ............I respect your right to have a war mongering position - however, I do disagree as most Americans clearly do. I repeat; since Obama knows that and Putin knows that, any pissing match between us and Putin is one we are not going to win.

It is silly. We shouldn't have to be having this discussion. We shouldn't be talking about Russia taking Crimea because it has majority ethnic Russians. Nations should respect the sovereignty of other nations. However, Putin doesn't care about the rule of law. And that is why we are having this discussion.
