Ramsey, are you absolutely positive this interpretation is correct? Since I'm still not so sure, I asked the guy to call me tomorrow. I don't see why e-mail wasn't ok, but if that's the way he wants to do, that's fine with me. I just want to get to the bottom of this, run the numbers, and decide which way to play it (assuming full exposure).

As far as WDC (another stock I got burned on), you might want to check out my last post on the thread for my view of things (no one else has posted this to my knowledge). All in all, things aren't looking good. The tech sector is melting down. However, with all the stocks I follow so far off their highs, it's hard to believe they could fall too much further!

I'll let you know after I talk to the QCOM treasurer.

Brian

Exactly my friend....You hit the nail on the head....Royalties from Korea will get cut in HALF!!!! Remember this is 100% pure profit too..... As for the handsets, look at Japan. Who has the inside track now? I would say Samsung because they can deliver at an awesome price point.....

Don't get me wrong folks....I like QCOM's product more but the margins are going to get squeezed fast....Looks like the Korean telecommunications companies are going to be able to export ALOT of CDMA stuff now and make good $$$ while undercutting the competition.....
