I wish someone could explain that to me. I believe the global economy is largely the reason for tamed inflation. I've long had a belief it's the Boomers as well. The inflationary period from Johnson through Reagan correlate exactly with the onset of Boomers into the job market. Now they are getting out and dis-inflation dominates. We may have another ten/twelve years of this. I hope so.
