Looks like you are really into Fantasy and SF. I was a SF devotee until I realized that no species that could make it out of it's solar system would still use wars as a political mechanism.

I loved the Hard core stuff. Heinlein especially.

I, too, like series. Have in the past year been through Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Stuart Woods' Stone Barrington,
Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar, Richard Stark's Parker, J.A. Jance's JP Beaumont, Henning Mankell's Wallender and every Dick Francis I could find on audio. Just starting on Lisa Gardner.

Used to be that I would be forced to put a book down because my eyes would get tired, but that doesn't happen with audio books - I can listen to them into the wee hours.

I'm just glad that all this wonderful technology didn't exist when I was working. What with audio books, digital music and a camera all rolled up in a gadget that fits in my pocket, I would never have had time to work.
