qdog, thanks for the Holiday Cheer--Egg Nog bowl looking a little low right now. Agree that the flight to bonds and away from stocks has got to have a contrarian's doggy tail twitching. But, it would take some big time brass to pull the trigger. I am unhappily old enough to remember when the U.S. Economy was so independent of the rest of the world that some god%*&$#@ little freaking country could declare Chapter 7 and the response, if any, was a yawn. Man oh man, are those days over! Still hanging on hoping the big international monetary authorities will ride to the rescue but have to admit that I completely underestimated gravity of SEA situation. Well, to be more honest, chose to concentrate on significant news: Jerry Rice, aka, Flash, aka NUMBER 80, is strapping on the cleats once again. Now this is some serious s*it if ever there was and those SEA guys should get it together to watch the Man when he visits San Diego in January. I'm thinking 8 receptions, 167 yards, 2 T.D.'s. (This assumes I can pay my electrical bill to watch!) Cheers, Mike Doyle
