This is not true. It hasn't been Russian for the past 60 years, a fact reaffirmed when the Budapest Memorandum was signed in 1994. And before the Russians controlled it, it was controlled by the Turks for 3 centuries, and then the Mongols, the Greeks, the Venetians, the Bulgars etc. There isn't a Russian legacy in Crimea; its a multi national legacy.

But even that is not the critical point..........Putin is flagrantly violating the rule of law and the sovereignty of another nation. It disturbed you when Bush violated that principal in Iraq but it doesn't when Putin does the very same thing.........actually worse.....he's planning to annex Crimea to Russia. Why don't you care?
