Interesting story, I heard exactly the opposite about demanding money under threat from business in Donetsk by Russian funded thugs, claiming that the protesters in Kiev are paid and therefore the local businesses must pay up and big amounts they opened the cash registers and served themselves In a nutshell no one knows but this was told to me by a trusted friend who has family there and no reason to lie as she is indifferent if the Russians or Ukrainians rule Donetsk. She was more worried of her family business where sh invested real money (which BTW I was against). All in all it is a very murky picture IMHO It is unfortunate that those voicing opinions about the Russian invasion on this tread have never felt the Russian Military Boots under Stalin, stepping on their toes I and my parents and family did and as such I do know how this feels, even 50 years later. As to all those that "do not care" I wish to send them to live with no chance of return under the present Russian administration and enjoy life. Wonder what they will have to say after let say 5 years there.
