Morning EKS,

re:SDRL, I'm still keeping it on my watch list, although the divy is enticing. While I realize times are different, going through the last os driller/supplier crash is still fresh in my memory. What seems cheap today may get cheaper tomorrow(strong support @ 28). I think any sector news of lower day rates will outweigh existing backlog number realities. Not to mention the ex-divy date has come and gone for this Q

I still have exposure to the sector through SFL (and GE), happy with that for now until things shake out a bit.

Any opinions on KKR? It's only a percent or so above what I paid for it Nov. Collected 2 distributions so far.
Tempted to add on any weakness and bring it to a full position. Hard to pin down future yield as it bounces around per Q. Seems to be a good time for these private equity guys to realize gains on investments.
I may have mentioned their energy assets as well.

Morning EKS, I know you own SFL and I mentioned it yesterday. I got curious about their offshore rig status.
I see the dayrates for their contracted rigs w/SDRL & NADL do have high dayrates and good contract length. Although I believe the Taurus rig comes off feb 15, have to do a bit more searching when I have some time.
I believe rates are picking up in other areas of their operations so feel the divy is pretty solid and at 9% I'm pretty happy.
