Sank, I have a friend working for ORAL as a consultant. He said the big plunge in Oracle stock is just market's overreaction. Bottom line is ORCL revenues and profits were up 23%, but failed to meet the expectations. "We are very optimistic about Oracle's future - the stock is going to be up. "

I think buying ORCL at this price level can be very profitable in a year or two.

About the semicons, I still own a little AMAT and looking for entry points for NVLS and KLAC. But it's very difficulty to predict a bottom., and the year-end tax selling may help driving losers down further.

Another great buying opportunity on these year end blow out sales. Oracle and AMAT are great bottom company to load up while the SEA is overblowing the market with jitters. Happy Investing :)
