Dear Craig: Both the announcements of which you posted the URL's are among the main reasons I originally purchased this stock. I dont know where the market will take this or any so-called TECH stock in the near future but over an intermediate to long-term I have to believe COHR is going to do very well. JDN

Coherent, Inc. Enters Telecommunications Market: CFX Communications Systems will develop and market a high-powered broadband transmission product line capable of providing cost-effective CATV and high-speed internet access. This innovative product line will provide both analog and digital transmissions supporting HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) networks, FTCC (Fiber-To-The-Curb) systems and FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) systems. I now predict COHR will round out their product line by announcing a JV with Kellogg, to provide FTTCB (Fiber-To-The-Cereal-Bowl).
