A philosophical argument will never save and it has a tendency to empty the power of the Cross. The wisdom of the world scorn and heap contempt upon the Cross because their is not light in them. By His Cross and Resurrection Christ has set us free. ICor. 1 [17] For Christ sent me ....... to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
