Jay Leno had a shtick ... He found many Americans didn't know why a year had 365 days :O) ... Positive Canadians not much better.. 5 years later... some parents lamenting that we no longer teach cursive writing in school.. I can tell you my youngest was forced by us... and his HS teachers appreciate it... Eldest was in Montessori.. She could write before she could print :O) Where were these parents when it was surreptitiously dropped ? Watching a flatscreen ? gurgle ? yes... My kids prepared for anything (well anything I could think of :O) Not too worried about them :O)
