As usual, you're making some pretty big assumptions.

I would not be prepared to say it is unjustified to shoot a stranger who you found in bed with your 16-year old daughter. Period. He was, apparently, engaged in the commission of a crime within the man's residence.

In Texas, that place is the man's "castle" and the bar isn't that high for shooting someone you find there who doesn't have your specific permission to be there. Particularly when in the process of assaulting your daughter.

There is very little chance of anyone who matters considering that shooting to be inappropriate.

Kind of hard to examine your conscience if you were unable to defend yourself and you're dead. The teen was trespassing..he got what he deserved.
