Don't misunderstand me. Both parties suck, there is no doubt about it. The Ds suck a little more but I don't know what difference it makes.

But to suggest the corrupt legislative activity of Obamacare has been typical of legislation from either side is ridiculous. There has never been anything even close when you consider the number and scope of the corrupt actions, and the scope of the legislation itself.

It ceased to be in any way a democratic process long before the votes occurred, and the willingness to just ignore the Constitution is an outrage. To be fair about it, I don't blame Obama -- who is simply ignorant of the way our Constitution is supposed to work (Jonathan Turley, a liberal, has addressed this in a totally impressive manner). I blame Harry Reid, who ought to be imprisoned or worse for what he's done to this country.

There is still time for the Court to resolve this properly by throwing the entire law out for having violated the origination clause. I don't expect that to happen, but it can't be ruled out. There are still other constitutional challenges and will be for years to come. But the end of Obamacare hopefully will come as the entire system collapses quickly, so that our people will learn not to let it happen again. I just hate that people will suffer and die in the process.
