And essentially the same number still don't have, costs are still rising, meh.

Nothing has changed but the level of bureaucracy and costs are higher and quality is poorer. What's not to like?

If you understood anything about statistics -- and you don't -- you would realize that you can't compare infant mortality rates among different nations because the diagnostic and treatment methods in the US are so much better we actually keep infants alive that would never be reported as a "life" in most other countries.

And of course we've always been the best. Even the infamous WHO and Commonwealth studies recognized that and had to add in "fudge factors" for the bogus metric of "access" (vastly overweighted) to get the result they wanted.
