[A time for some Westell]
Charlie, I find Westell attractive and the closest I can come to for what I had hoped were the possibilities for Amati. Whatever it lacks in intellectual property, it makes up in some very good positioning with major players in ADSL. Its part of the same "family" Amati was part of. I won't position myself as strongly with WSTL as I had been with Amati, but I feel I would be very sorry not to increase my position in this company. The timing seems to be good considering the tech "slaughter" and what I feel will be some significant developments in the coming months. Just the news concerning ADSL is mushrooming and I assume that both TI and Motorola shortly (I've been thinking this for quite a while) will have some functioning chips which will allow Westell to have some substantial products to offer--with what we know is Amati inside.

Hope my thoughts are on target,
Michael
