>>PS: Did you get the lastest earnings estimate via my email ?<<

larry, actually, i've been overly bullish, albeit by just a tad, since the stock was $45 going to $60.

those that thought i was bearish (on the company, NOT the stock) needed a slight re-arrangement of reality. no matter how they perceived it... ;-)

i did get the latest analist data. i know one thing. they're wrong even though they talk to mu management ;-)

the odds, imho, of an outright operating loss this past q is more than 50%. i really think we see a LOSS this q.

I'LL BUY THAT FOR $25 ;-)

korea will try and export their way out of trouble. not good for mu. 98 capacity is already on line and the fabs that are nearly completed will be completed. as one asian exec said, "once you start getting a haircut, you don't just stop when you're 80% done." (close paraphrase, anyway).

keep those dec 25s through expiration or $19, whichever comes first. at least i will :-)

good luck...

Larry,

Correct me if I am wrong but 22 1/2 means the downtrend continues, right?

Didn't get much of a bounce so far, NASDAQ is actually down as I write. Even though puts will lose some time premium on Monday, I am going to continue holding my puts.

$4 here we come! <g>
