I played NUGT a while ago. To me it is almost a day trader vehicle only. Leveraged ETFs are high risk activities.

I do think that the current dip is an opportunity in the gold market.

Additionally I think the dip in many of our E&P favorites is also an opportunity - unless there is a real crash of the economy in the west. I also wonder if we will not see some mergers with the current weak prices.

Then there is the concept of more JVs to reduce risk. For instance, and this is just my own crazy idea, does anyone think HK and GDP could JV their TMS assets? To me such a move would be a good move for each.

IMO there are too many players in a very high priced game - especially at a time when their debt levels are so high.
