Interesting perspective... I don't mean "happy" in a happy-go-lucky or stoned-out-of-ones-gourd sense, I mean content. I think I'm happy and productive at least most of the time. If we aren't happy, we sort of have to evaluate why we aren't content. Same with productivity. I had this discussion with my co-worker - sometimes we are experience life "through the windshield". Other times we experience it at arms-length. The trick is to be able to switch from one to another.
