All we have practiced in the US for the last 30 years has been Keynesianism. More and more debt, lower and lower interest rates. And what have been the consequences? Lower and lower GDP growth rates. Those are the facts. So has it worked? Nope. Not if your yardstick is growth. And not if your yardstick is the USD as a store of wealth and a stable medium of exchange.
