History has shown us atheist's are as moral as religious people. More so I would say. You ignore the Dark Ages when the Christian church controlled everything 400 AD to 1,000 AD and they killed and tortured everyone. It was horrible. So where was your moral god then? When we instituted democracy and laws made up by man, and not god, we greatly reduced the torture and killing. Your hero's are simplistic. You just don't see it.
