"Atheism has a short and very bloody history" Superstition has a LONG and VERY BLOODY history! Look at the Dark Ages. Look at the slavery issue which Christians justified for centuries before being FORCED to surrender their guns and their slaves. Now we have a secular society and things are looking up. We still need to jail the users such as Haggard (you can LOVE him here! tedhaggard.com )--and Baker and all the rest--but at least they are impotent to harm rational people.
