Yes - I'd say it has been worth the investments. It's the journey not the destination and in the process we create things that have benefited the world immensely. But like all things government - they have to have a budget that lives within our means. Unlike other government programs that create more poor and dependents - NASA creates more engineers and raises the IQ of the country at large.
