In the speech, Mr Carney unveiled details of the Bank's "strategic plan", drawn up by the management consultants McKinsey. Mr Carney said his objective over the next three years was to make the Bank work seamlessly towards its twin objectives of creating monetary and financial stability for the UK. He said the goal was to create "One Bank to exploit the synergies and complementarities across our policy functions."


And WTF???? Not to pro-Carney




Britain’s economy is thriving, at least relative to its peers, if not fully recovered to pre-Great Recession days. Yet the new BOE governor, less than a year removed from his former haunt on Ottawa’s Wellington Street, was excoriated last week by British parliamentarians for a foreign-exchange-market rigging scandal among rogue traders at leading world banks that began long before Carney’s watch, and may or may not also involve BOE employees.
