You would be among the first to complain if your student got into a medical situation, a emotional situation, or a physically threatening situation and the teacher and admin did nothing to prevent it. If your kid comes home with bad grades because of a bad situation at home you, of course, would want no slack or extra help from the teacher. That woman's comments are a perfect example of what I'm talking about.....she's more interested in the politics than in her kids welfare....her kid is probably failing in school due to some bad home situation and she wants to keep it quiet...
