he should have joe come in and handle office supplies and microage send him his cpq's...
of course he will get p200 deskpros for 800 dollars this way...
directors of I/S aren't swithcing atound alllot this retool..
one or two types of pcs and that's it.. and it's the majors.
cpq,dell,hp,ibm..they will have 70% of the biz soon.

I am looking at this purely from a business stand point. If the twon is big enough, there will be a "Good Guys" or "Circuit City" that carries Compaq. If it is not big enough the "Joe Who" is too small. You should be able to buy Compaq through the Web.

Dell is doing $1B on the Web. There is no reason to believe that Compaq won't achieve that, assume they do most of things right.
