Primitive superstitious people generally followed moral codes that were often very tribal and prejudicial to different races and to women. Thus we see a lot of genocide and rape in the bible being presented as moral behaviours simply because it was good for the men of the victorious tribe--not at all good for all those butchered and raped! But this is perhaps difficult for you to follow, nèst ce pas?? "You must really hate those ancient Jews." Not in the slightest. They were barbarians. They had sub-human ideas which all civilized people hate. But they made the choice that was natural to ignorant people steeped in superstitious nonsense. Do you think the primitive Israelites were the only tribes of people who were pre-scientific and were clueless about the make-up of the world?? What do you have for a brain? Some over-ripe peas??
