Dwight, I too am really nervous holding on to coms stocks now since though the short-term trend is up, the long-term trend is still down. And usually long-term trend wins. So it's really living from day to day right now to test any perceivable resistances. It did really well today bouncing off the $34 resistance but can it does the same day after day ?

All in all, the blood bath in Semi and DD must abated somewhat for coms to stabilize. They are all co-related eventhough they all have totally different reasons for tanking.

The ITU standard is actually very important. COMS dropped from $58 to $28 almost totally due to the modem mess and if the mess looks like getting over, then it's indeed quite bullish. People had discounted to the point of assuming that no Standard would come out next year due to all the in-fightings and lawsuits.

Something good for longs tonight is that HK traders were off to lunch breaking even right now.
