I agree with the impact to lower income payers I would hope that with the massive increase in revenue, as a result of the wealthy tax avoiders having to contribute an appropriate amount, hardship could be addressed in other ways But I think it must be truly flat on everyone to make it politically acceptable We hear constantly from folks about the egregious give away programs so families can eat or not be put on the streets That strain of cruelty runs deep as we can see on this board Folks who have never needed simply can't understand it Empathy is an alien concept to many
