Good point, steve. I remember back in Feb 97, when briefing.com was almost apoplectic by the PC makers' "high valuations". Then as the Spring tech correction deepened, briefing.com triumphantly noted "street finally coming around to our view that the PC makers are overvalued"...Of course both Dell and CPQ promptly doubled in less than 3 months. -GGG- I bet Briefing.com editors were feeling mighty stupid after that. But now it seems they still consider themselves to be something of experts on the subject of PC stocks.
