A decent NOVL server for INTC is coming soon. Moab is in pre-release with native IP and a whole host of services that make it an outstanding Internet server NOS and JAVA paltform. But the NOS product which can be down-loadd now will not be out commercially until April-June of 1998. It will also include support in for multiple processors. As you may recall NOVL powered the COMDEX show this year flawlessly with its NOS servers, hosting all Email and web services for the conference. Soemthing which now one would ever expect NT to do. I hope Intel will stop puttin all of its eggs in the MSFT basket. I would love to see Intel recognize that NOVL has many of the keys to Intels moving up from the low end server market where NT predominates to being a centerpiece of the enterprise NOS market where SUN currently reigns. MOAB plus Merced is a nice fit. MSFT isn't going to do it for them.
