The bible was written and administered by people in the name of an imaginary person.

Just like the Mormon church. All make believe that people like to believe. People like to make up stuff.

But science is able to disprove lots of it, so the perpetrators of the myths like to keep science down. Even now.

The church was a center of power and myth and no one wanted to be challenged.

If the church said the sun revolved around the earth that was it.
