War & death have always been a part of the human milleu, even more with God than without. Now lets imagine what we would find in terms of more devastion & more millions murdered in the European 30yrs War had those theists then had access to the modern weaponry that men like Stalin or Mao had. One third of all Germany was decimated in that religious conflict, some 7mil and upwards of 15mil total, then you could easily triple that had they had some super power supplying them modern weaponry in the interest of buying peace & loyalty with bought alliances. Lets not forget that the tortures then were especially brutal, that would rival any Japonese or make a Korean blush. Communism is structured the same as religion, you have the similar utopian dream, instead of priests you have party leaders, instead of an afterlife you have the state and all men rewarded as to their work.

Then theres the big follow up of WWI & WWII, distinct examples of more human agression & conflict in the Euros, if you want to put labels on things try biting off a little more reality next time. Men fight for themselves, for the land, for the family & for the country 99.99%, God is just a pretty word added to justify this, religion to make converts, give some imaginary psychological strength in battle . If you want to add more mass murder examples in the name of gods, look at nearly 100mil killed in the Muslim conquest of the Indian subcontinent and the follow up split finally in the 20th century . You want to put labels on things try stamping one on your own forehead, "pinhead" will do nicely.
