Sorry Greg but I'm neither an Obama Democrat nor a Bush/McCain Republican. I also choose not to identify myself with either liberalism or conservatives. Many of my beliefs could be found in both. I what I do identify myself as is an Orthodox Bible believing Christian. Sometimes I even betray my calling as a Christian because of certain thoughts and beliefs and particularly certain actions. I often have to repent because of these thoughts and actions but I praise Jesus for His sacrifice on the Cross that continuously washes us clean when we repent. With that said, I firmly believe it's a huge error to make the beliefs and practices of political parties such as Democrat or Republican as a foundation to think, speak and act. Both are very very flawed self-serving human institutions. The Gospels and the Church teachings are a much superior foundation for thinking, speaking and acting. I did not vote for Mr. Obama or Mr. McCain. Peace.
