I would think that SHVA's management now has a different view. After hopelessly watching its own stock dropping from >$90 down to this level, they probably are willing to look at any offers now, especially their new CEO has personal incentives to get the company acquired.

SHVA's recent trading pattern seems also support that something is cooking. There have been many large blocks (10,000 - 50,000) traded at ask price in the past several days. The most selling pressure, however, have come from scattered small orders (100 - 2000). This tells us that the big boys know something that we don't, and they are quietly building up their positions using the opportunity caused by general market down turn. SHVA's two good news released yesterday seemed also serve the purpose of giving the deal a final push. Someone mentioned that NT will split on Dec. 16, and it could very well be sometime around that event that the deal will be announced.

I wouldn't think that all SHVA's employees would be talking about something that has no merit at all.

Good luck!
